Web Based Learning
Welcome to West Nyack's Math Support Page! This website can be used to understand some of the major concepts students are learning in math each year.
The DreamBox Learning adaptive learning platform helps classroom teachers, schools, and districts effectively differentiate instruction for students. We use DreamBox to drive our one-on-one instruction and lesson plans, so we can focus on kids individual needs. It accelerates learning at the same time as it makes learning math fun. Dreambox can be accessed through the district website under the clever portal. The application may be also be downloaded on a tablet. Lessons have been sent to all students and will be monitored remotely.
Additional Games and Activities that can be played individually or in a small group:
- Addition: Roll Six
- Addition and Subtraction: CONTIG, JR
- Multiplication: How to Close 100 (Can be played collaboratively or competitively. To play competitively, either print a board for each player, or have players use different colors on same board.)
- All four operations: CONTIG
